Prerequisites for ACP:

  • 2,000 hours of general project experience working on teams.

  • 1,500 hours working on agile project teams or with agile methodologies. This requirement is in addition to the 2,000 hours of general project experience.

  • 21 contact hours of training in agile practices.

 It costs $139 to become a member, but it saves you $60 on exam fees. The standard non-member price to take the exam is $495. The PMI member price for the exam is $435.

At least 48 hours after purchasing your enrollment, log on to or call 1-800-998-5662 to schedule an exam appointment at a Parametric Testing Center. Parametric appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and seating is subject to availability.

You must attend a 21 contact hours training program in agile methodologies if you want to apply for the PMI-ACP certification exam.
